GETTING HERE
How can I get here?
The Opernarena am Heumarkt (Lothringerstr. 22, 1030 Vienna) is easily accessible by public transportation.
The following stations are located in the immediate vicinity:
- U4 Stadtpark subway station (2-minute walk)
- Schwarzenbergplatz tram stop (Lines D, 2, and 71; 3-minute walk)
- Vienna Mitte Landstraße Station (S-Bahn, U4, U3; a 15-minute walk along the City Park)
Where can I park?
How close to the start of the performance can I arrive?
Doors open until shortly before the performance begins at 7:45 p.m. We recommend arriving early (doors open at 6:00 p.m.) so you can enjoy the wonderful atmosphere of the Opera Arena beforehand.
If you arrive after the performance has started due to a delay, our staff will escort you to your seat.

Where can I buy tickets?
You can purchase tickets online at opernsommer.at/en as well as at select ticket outlets (well-known ticket offices in Vienna). Please note that fees may vary depending on the ticket office.
Only on opernsommer.at/en there are no additional fees!
How do I get my tickets?
What should I do if I haven't received my tickets?
After placing your order, please check your email inbox and spam folder, refresh your email inbox, and wait a moment. If that doesn't help, please contact us at support@opernsommer.at
Can I rebook or cancel my tickets?
What payment options are available?
Are there tickets for children and teenagers?
Children and teenagers are warmly welcome to the Vienna Opera Summer. Please note that the minimum age is five! We offer discounts on tickets in select categories for young opera fans. For more information, see “Are there any discounts?”
ARE THERE ANY DISCOUNTS?
Discounted tickets are available in categories A–E. You can purchase discounted tickets for school students, college students, apprentices, and people with disabilities (only with valid ID and registration in the online shop) on the website opernsommer.at. School students and university students (up to age 27) receive a 30% discount, and people with disabilities receive a 50% discount on regular ticket prices.
Discounts offered through partnerships (Vorteilsclub Wien, Radio Ö1, etc.) are available only for a limited time during the advance sale period.
