The InterContinental® Vienna was opened in 1964 as the first international hotel in Vienna. With originally over 500 rooms, the InterContinental® Vienna was not only one of the first InterContinental® hotels in Europe, but also the largest and most modern hotel in the Austrian capital. Today, the InterContinental® Vienna has 392 rooms, including 49 suites. With a 1,200 m² conference centre with natural daylight, it is suitable for all types of events for up to 800 people.
