Gabriel Wanka received his artistic training at the Vienna State Opera Ballet Academy. During this time, he performed in numerous productions at the Vienna State Opera and Volksoper, including pieces by internationally renowned choreographers such as Hans Van Manen, Robert North, and Renato Zanella.

After his training, the Munich native worked for six years at the Linz Music Theatre as an ensemble member under Jochen Ulrich, guest soloist and choreographer.

Since 2016, Gabriel Wanka has been working freelance as a dancer, choreographer and actor in Germany and abroad, for example for the Posterino Dance Company, the Tiroler Festpiele Erl or the Frankfurt Opera.

Since 2018 he has also been a lecturer at the MUK Private University of the City of Vienna at the Institutes for Vocal and Opera, as well as Acting.
