Cristina Antonetta Pasaroiu has been celebrated in many of the world's most prestigious opera houses, concert halls and festivals.

The Financial Times praised her for her "extremely intense stage and musical presence," "the versatility of her soprano, her haunting low notes, her radiant high notes, her tremendous stamina, and her nuanced expressiveness." She was "undoubtedly the star of the evening" and embodied "all of Hoffmann's lovers."

Cristina recorded Hommage à Maria Callas under the label Aparté, a program broadcast on Radio France in 2023.

Her debut in the roles of Olympia/Antonia/Giulietta/Stella in a new production of Les Contes d'Hoffmann at the Deutsche Oper Berlin and the Seoul Arts Center was highly acclaimed. Other engagements include the title roles in Alcina, Elisabetta di Valois in Don Carlo, Elettra in Idomeneo in Wiesbaden, Alice Ford at the Bavarian State Opera, and Marietta in Die tote Stadt at the George Enescu Festival, where she celebrated both her role debut and her 45th leading role on stage.

Her recent projects include her debut in Il Tabarro, Gianni Schicchi, Suor Angelica (Il Trittico) by Puccini and Il Trovatore in Wiesbaden, Violetta Valéry at the Aalto-Theater Essen, Mimì in La Bohème at the Opéra de Nice and at the Deutsche Oper Berlin, Rusalka at the Opéra de Bordeaux and at the Opéra de Marseille, followed by a concert tour with Andrea Bocelli in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Al Ula, Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Italy, Latvia, Poland, Norway, Scotland, Greece, Israel, Brazil, etc.

Cristina was born in Bucharest and began her vocal studies at the age of 12 at the "Dinu Lipatti" music school in her hometown, where she won more than 18 international competitions. She continued her studies at the Haute école de musique de Genève and the Conservatorio Giuseppe Verdi in Milan with Maestro Vittorio Terranova and Dolora Zajick, and graduated from the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna. At the age of 20, she made her international debut at the Teatro Comunale di Bologna in the role of Magda in La Rondine.

Cristina Pasaroiu has performed in concert at the Concertgebouw Amsterdam, the Musikverein Vienna, the Teatro Regio Parma, in Florence, the Alte Oper Frankfurt, the Klangvokal Dortmund, the Konzerthaus Berlin, in Paris, the Victoria Hall Geneva, in Zurich, the Opéra de Nice, the Tokyo Spring Festival, the NCPA Beijing, the Lotte Concert Hall Seoul, the Copenhagen Summer Festival, on Margaret Island Budapest, in Dubai, London, Jerusalem, Tel Aviv and many other cities.

In 2020, Cristina began composing, exploring a blend of lyrical vocals and electronic pop rhythms under the moniker AntoNetta. The soprano combines these two passions in this revolutionary project, in which she serves as author, composer, and lead performer. This project earned her the 2024 Celebrity Trophy in Romania and made her the first soprano to perform at the world's biggest EDM festivals, such as Tomorrowland, Untold, and Parookaville.
