Christina Tschernitz (*1997 in Feldkirchen in Carinthia) made her debut as a young singer at the Klagenfurt City Theater as a soloist with the Carinthia Singakademie (1st Boy/The Magic Flute, among others). She then completed her IGP studies at the Gustav Mahler Private University Klagenfurt and her vocal studies at the Music and Arts Private University Vienna, where she is currently pursuing a master's degree in solo singing. Her performances include Musetta in "La Bohème for Children" (Baden City Theater), Papagena in "The Magic Flute" (MUK Vienna/Theater Akzent), and Frasquita in "Carmen for Children" (Baden City Theater). Her concert appearances include soprano soloist in Bach's "Christmas Oratorio" and Handel's "Messiah" (Oberschützen Choir), as well as in Orff's "Carmina Burana" (SFK Euro Symphony Orchestra). She is a prizewinner of the Young Voices Alpe Adria Competition of the Graz Music Association, where she made her solo debut in March of this year. She is also the recipient of the prestigious KS Gabriele Sima Vocal Scholarship for 2024/25.
