Volksoper star Juliette Khalil, who can be seen in numerous concerts and musical theater productions both at home and abroad, is celebrated for her outstanding performances as a singer and actress.
Born in Vienna, she performed on the stage of the Vienna State Opera at a young age and gained formative stage experience there. Juliette Khalil studied solo singing / opera and musical at the Vienna University of Music and Performing Arts.
She has been a permanent member of the ensemble at the Vienna Volksoper since 2015. She is known to Viennese audiences from numerous roles such as Eliza Dolittle in "My Fair Lady", Dorothy in "The Wizard of Oz", Papagena in "The Magic Flute", Adele, Ida and Frog in "Die Fledermaus", and Mowgli in "The Jungle Book" and many more. With her extraordinary, genre-bending vocal range and her acting talent, she has won over audiences.
Juliette Khalil was part of the highly acclaimed Red Bull Symphony Concert with the Austrian pop duo Seiler and Speer at the Vienna Konzerthaus, conducted by Christian Kolonovits. In 2023 she gave her first solo concert there. In 2023 she sang the Austrian national anthem at the F1 Grand Prix in Spielberg in front of millions of viewers worldwide. She has performed in numerous countries, including Germany, Japan, and at the Luxembourg Philharmonic. She played the title role in the world premiere of the musical “Anne Frank.” Most recently she appeared as Maria Rainer in “The Sound of Music” and as Maria in “West Side Story” at the Vienna Volksoper. She played the role of Zerlina at the Vienna Opera Summer in 2024.
